At Heart of Melbourne we continue to provide cardiology services. Please click for specific details
Heart of Melbourne is committed to the health of our patients, families and communities. Right now, that includes taking special steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus, also called COVID-19.
Based on the evolving recommendations published by Victorian and federal authorities we have made the following modifications to our procedures to reduce the risk of infection whilst continuing to provide care for our patients:
We are providing bulk billed telephone consultations to all eligible patients. More details are available on the MBS website. Patients will be informed about whether they will have a telephone or physical consultation.
Essential cardiology testing services continue to operate with all the required precautionary measures. These services include stress testing, Echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, ECG, and inpatient procedures.
Please do not visit us and inform us beforehand if you have respiratory symptoms or a fever. We will guide you for the appropriate measures.
Waiting rooms seatings have been spaced out to maximise personal space. Please do not arrive to your appointments too early, and only bring essential people with you.
Please contact us if any questions. We are available 6 days a week to help.
