Dr Chris Goods is an experienced General and Interventional Cardiologist primarily based at Knox Private Hospital. He also consults in Lilydale.

Dr Goods after graduating from The University of Melbourne in 1986, completed his advanced training at the Austin Hospital and Monash Medical Centre in 1993. He then spent a further two years at the University of Alabama, USA where he was involved in pioneering stent research.
​
On returning to Australia he worked at the Alfred hospital for ten years. He currently holds public appointments at Box Hill, Maroondah. With a career spanning over three decades, Dr Goods has acquired a deep understanding of the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of cardiac diseases. His unwavering dedication to comprehensive care ensures that his patients receive the highest standard of treatment for their ailments.

Dr Goods does not routinely bulk bill, however he discounts for pensioners and healthcare cardholders. You do not need to have private health insurance for an appointment.

You can only obtain the Medicare refund if you have been referred by another medical practitioner so please bring along your referral with you on the day.

Private Hospital Care

Dr Goods participates in the 'No-GAP' cover with most of the private health insurance companies. This means that any ‘out of pocket’ doctor’s fees for your medical care in a private hospital will be kept to a minimum. Our office will provide further details at the time of your admission.
